Plumping Face Mask from The Body Shop
Back at the end of 2016, I picked up a sample of The Body Shops' British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask.
The other evening I tried out the sample, as my skin was feeling quite de-hydrated.
The texture of the mask is difficult to describe, it's nothing like a clay based mask at all, it's a little bit like a peel-off mask but not as sticky, and it's thicker than a serum based mask, like in a sheet mask.
The scent is as you would expect - Roses, and once you put it on, it's basically invisible. It does have some colour to it but nothing that really stands out.
I cleansed my face, applied the mask and waited, I think about 20 minutes or so. I rinsed the mask off and I have to say that my skin did feel a lot better, without feeling oily or greasy. I was fairly impressed.
So a few days later I was out shopping with my Mother in Cardiff and popped into the body to check out the full sized jar. Now I know that I said it was good but I do think that £16 is a little much for a face mask from The Body Shop. I'll wait and see if there's an offer on for Mothers Day or Easter.
Well I hope this helps you out.
All the best
