Bourjois, New Rouge Edition Velvet
I was out on a photo shoot for a friend today, and while we were out, popped into Superdrug. I'd seen these little beauties about a week ago, but they were totally sold out so when I saw them today on a 3 for 2 offer I just had to give them a go.
So I picked up Ole flamingo 05, Plum plum girl 14 and Grand Cru 08.
I swatched them on the back of my hand and the formula is really smooth and velvety.
The top one is Ole flamingo, the middle is Grand Cru and the bottom is Plum plum girl. No in the swatch they look a bit glossy but the dry down to a matte very quickly.
I quickly tried out the Ole Flamingo and it is quite bright but goes on smoothly and is not patchy in application, however, they do leave behind quite a stain on the lip and it took coconut oil on a piece of tissue to remove most of it. I then wanted to try out a different colour and needed to add a little bit of foundation to cancel out the remaining stain on my lips.
This is a quick picture of me wearing the Plum Plum Girl. I have to say that I am impressed with their staying power, and they are not drying on the lips at all.
I may even go back and get the other colours.
