Multi-Tasking, Multi-Masking
I'd seen these L'Oreal Pure Clay masks advertised on several beauty sites and really wanted to give them a go.
On the weekend I was milling around on the Superdrug website and saw that they were reduced to £5.29 each and there was an offer on, that when you bought 2 qualifying skincare products that you had a free Patisserie de Bain gift set.
With that said while I was in Cardiff at an appointment on Monday I popped into Superdrug and picked up the set of Clay masks and the free gift, Bonus!!
I decided to #clayyourway and test them out.
I applied the Detox mask to my chin area, as I seem to be having a slight acne breakout (hormonal I think), the Purity mask to my nose and forehead as that's where I get the oiliest and the Glow mask to my cheeks as they were looking a little bit dull. (apologies on the photo I was just concentrating on what could be seen in the back ground)
I half except them to smell not nice, but in fact I was proved extremely wrong, in that they all smelt lovely, with that undertone I remember from when I used to go to pottery class, of traditional wet clay.
I applied them using a spatula type thing that I had received with another face mask, to make sure I got an even coat over the area I wanted the mask. I then left them till they were dry, before washing them off with warm water.
You can't see this in the picture but I could see all the teeny tiny specks in the face mask where it had pulled oil, sebum and dirt out of my pores. I was actually really impressed by this, if a little repulsed.
All in all, I have to say I was totally impressed by these face masks and I will be using them for the next week to see if the claims that there will be a visible difference in a week.
I would definitely say go and get these from Superdrug at the moment, as they are on special offer and you get a free gift. But even if they weren't I'd still say go get them.
Have fun multi-masking
Xoxo
