Skincare weekly routine

To try and keep my skin looking as good as possible I try and follow this weekly skincare routine.

Daily

First thing when I get up I use a Micellar cleansing water, I'm currently using Garnier Micellar Cleansing water for Combination and Sensitive Skin.

I then moisturise either with my Temple Spa Moisture Matte moisturiser, if I'm not going anywhere or if I intend to put on full makeup. If I'm just going to pop out to see my mum and dad or do a few simple errands then I'll use MAC Lightful Tinted Cream SPF30.

The Mac tinted cream does say to use it after a moisturiser, however, I find that if I use it after a moisturiser then my skin can get too oily, if you have drier skin then putting your favorite moisturiser underneath may not be such a bad idea, as I have found that If I do have a slightly drier patch of skin that this can catch in those areas.

In the evening I then do a double cleanse using my Temple Spa products; Be Gone Facial Cleanser and Toning Essence, then depending on what my skin is like I'll either use the Moisture Matte moisturiser or if my skin is needing a little extra boost I'll use Temple Spa Skin Truffle. I'll also put on my neck cream from Temple Spa Exalt.

Weekly

I'll use an exfoliator once a week; I tend to use a fairly gentle exfoliator as I have sensitive skin, and anything too rough can irritate my skin. I tend to use something like the Super Facialist Rose Hydrate, Simple Oil Balancing Facial Scrub or Biore Charcoal Pore minimiser.

Face Masks I'll use twice or three times a week depending on what I've had going on.

Face masks I currently have are:

Temple Spa Trufflesque - Hydrating and radiance

Temple Spa Purification - detox

Liz Earle Deep Cleansing Mask - Purifies and regulates oiliness

Garnier Moisture Bomb - Hydrating and revitalising

Body Shop British Rose - Plumping

7th Heaven Peel-off (various flavours) - exfoliating and purifying

Superdrug Self heating - brightens and softens

Superdrug Black Seaweed - cleanses and detoxifies

Once a week I'll use my Carmen Facial Sauna to help open up my pores and give my skin a really deep clean. I usually steam my face for around 15-20 minutes and once I've finished I used a clean dry towel to pat my face dry and then either use my micellar water or toning essence on a cotton round just to help close the pores.

Here is an article if you want to add an essential oil to help boost your steam facial.

What's your go to favourite for exfoliating? let me know in the comments.
