Mac Foundation Review
Back at the beginning of August I mentioned that I had bought for me a new foundation - MAC Pro Longwear SPF 10 Foundation.
I have oily skin and can get very warm when I'm out and about. I told this to the MAC consultant when I went to see them and she suggested that the Pro Longwear would be one the best.
So I've tried it for a month and I have to say that, when it goes on it looks lovely. If you want medium coverage and a dewy finish then this is your product. However, for me it doesn't last through the oil my skin produces and if I get warm then it just starts to melt.
I found that the foundation split, became patchy and just generally wore off even though this is a long wear foundation. I also found that I needed to powder really often, if I wanted to stay matte.
All in all I would not recommend this foundation for anyone that has oily skin. Combo to dry skin would probably have no problem with this foundation, but I however, need something with a little more coverage (I want to hide my acne scars) and more staying power without having to powder once an hour.
