Ladies Day
Yesterday I had a fabulous day shopping, lunching, drinking and beautifying.
I spent the day with my bestie - Julia, and went into Cardiff, which is now turning into a sprawling Capital with new shops opening all the time.
There are hundreds of shops and restaurants, you have to be really determined and start early if you want to try and hit at least a quarter of them.
We had a fairly relaxed time of it really, as we only went in about a dozen or so, including John Lewis, River Island, Debenhams and SuperDry.
We had lunch at Carluccio's with another friend - Sam, which was lovely.
The lunch menu, is really good value. £11.99 for 2 courses or £13.99 for 3 (August 2016), and the food was delicious, and the desserts were extra creamy.
We did the rounds at the beauty counters in Debenhams and John Lewis trying to score some free samples, in which I hit the jack pot on the La Prairie Counter, where the lady was extremely nice and gave me a sample of the skin caviar foundation and their ice range of moisturisers (review to come later). I managed to snag some mascara samples (also a review this week).
I also bought the Revolution Contour powder palette, to give out a try, as I had been using a light concealer and a bronzing powder, which had been working quite nicely but I fancied a dedicated system (once I've tried this out, I'll post a review.)
After shopping we went back to my bestie's house, where I showed her the Temple Spa products and we tried them out together (much hilarity ensued, due to us both looking like something out of a Batman comic/ movie).
We drank prosecco, ate pizza and popcorn and watched "How to be single" which was brilliant.
It was just a really lovely and perfect girlie day.
