La Prairie free sample haul
As you may know from my post yesterday I managed to score some free samples at the beauty counters in Cardiff on Saturday.
First up is the La Prairie Swiss ice crystal emulsion (£218 for 50mls)
For a moisturiser it's quite liquidy. However, you only need a little to go a long way and it is easily absorbed leaving your skin lovely and smooth. I have not had a reaction to it which is good, and it felt really nice on my skin without leaving it feeling greasy.
Next up is the La Prairie Skin Caviar foundation (£145 for 30mls). The foundation has a nice consistency, and moved really well on my skin with a dampened beauty blender and gave me great coverage. It felt really silky smooth once it had been applied, even without a primer and it has stayed put all day.
Both the La Prairie products were free samples and I have to say, the woman on the counter was really nice and helpful. I was originally asking about the Cellular Treatment Foundation Powder finish (£65 for 14.2g) as I had seen a review by Tati Westbrook on You Tube. However, they didn't have any samples of that, so she offered me a sample of the Skin Caviar and some samples of the Ice moisturisers (I think I had the better deal, if you ask me).
