UPDATED: Finally got my hands on Milani and The Ordinary

They finally arrived!! I ordered these two products a few weeks ago and they finally got here.

Milani Conceal and Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation and Concealer and The Ordinary High-Adherence Silicone Primer.

I thought I'd try them out together and see how I get on.

The Milani Conceal + Perfect is a bit on the dark side, but I thought I would try mixing it with my L'Oreal Infallible Pro Matte in Porcelain to see if I can lighten it up a touch.

I did find the Conceal and Perfect in 00 Light Natural but they were out of stock at the time of purchasing.

I decided to do a direct comparison between my Benefit Pore-fessional and The Ordinary High-Adherence. So, on one side of my face I put the Pore-fessional and on the other, the High-Adherence. I then mixed my Milani Conceal and Perfect with my L'Oreal Infallible Pro Matte in a 1:1 ratio. It came out the perfect shade, yay!

I wore the Primer and foundation for around 10 to 11 hours, and I have to say that The Ordinary Primer held up just as good as my Benefit Pore-fessional (I think I have been converted). My foundation went on with no problems and blended out really well. I could probably have done with blotting my forehead or powdering towards the later end of wearing, but I felt that it all held up very well.

When I have a bit more money I will buy the Milani in 00 Light Natural just so that I can mix the two Milani foundations together and see what coverage I can get as I think that by mixing the L'Oreal with the Milani, it changed the consistency to be less full coverage than usual, which worked great for me today, but I may want full coverage at some point in the future.

I have not been disappointed by either of the products and I would definitely recommend getting your hands on them when you can.

Hope you are all doing well.

Update:

When I first tried out the Milani Foundation mixed with my L'Oreal Infallible I thought it was a great mix. However, I'm not quite sure what happened but the second time I tried it out it oxidised like a Muther F***er. I looked like I had been Tango'd.

Maybe I used too much Milani or not enough L'oreal but I was orange, because of this I have revisited my foundations and I think, that maybe in the summer when I have a bit more colour the Milani mixed with the L'oreal might work but for now I will be going back to just using my L'Oreal Infallible foundation in 10 Porcelain.

I'm still really impressed with the coverage of the Milani, and if the foundation colour is right for you then this would be a great choice if you were looking for a full coverage foundation, at a reasonable price.
