Dragon's Blood Plumping Mask from Nip+Fab

Nip+Fab Dragon's Blood Fix Plumping Mask

I ordered the NIP+FAB skin Dragon's Blood Fix Plumping Mask from Amazon about a week ago when they were having a discount. It's still currently at the discount price of £7.

The mask's claims "An intensely hydrating gel mask combing multiple skin perfecting complexes to plump the look of wrinkles and refine he skin's appearance for a bright, more youthful-looking complexion."

It contains hyaluronic acid for hydrating and plumping the skin, amino acids to brighten the skin tone and dragon's blood to comfort and restore through skin hydration.

Usually I have quite oily skin and don't tend to use hydrating masks that often, but every now and again I do like to use a hydrating mask as even though my skin is oily it can start to feel dry when I've worn lots of matte finish makeup, which I have done this week.

Firstly I should apologise, as I should have taken a before and after photo, but to be honest I wasn't expecting such a dramatic effect.

I followed the instructions for the mask, cleansed my face and applied a thick layer of the gel mask all over my face, and waited. The tube say 10 minutes but I probably left mine on for about 15. I then washed the gel off and patted my skin dry.

I have to say I am amazed at the result. I have highlight in the above picture the portion between my eye brows. As you can see I have what appears in the picture to be a line, but before this picture was taken that line was quite a deep furrow. I really do wish I had taken a before picture, but I have to say that even I noticed a dramatic difference in the depth of the line.

I will definitely be buying more of this stuff and save it for special occasions when I really want to reduce the appearance of lines before applying makeup. It's not a massive tube, it's 50ml but you should at least get a few applications from the tube. The consistency is a gel with a slight yellow tint, it smells fresh without being obnoxious and applies really easily, (I always use a 3/4 inch brush to apply masks) without being overly watery or sticky.

If you are in the market for a plumping mask then I would definitely suggest giving this one a go, especially at £7, full is usually RRP £14.95.

All the best
