While wandering around Marks and Spencer's back at the end of the summer I discovered that M&S are now selling Pixi by Petra.
I had heard loads of great things about the Pixi Glow Tonic but was a little hesitant about splurging £18 on it.
However, when I was meandering around back last week looking for Christmas presents and idea's (I know I've left my Christmas shopping to very last minute), I found that M&S were doing this A-mazing box set.
Pixi glow tonic, glow mud cleanser, facial oil and make-up remover cloths in a set for just £30. I just had to snap one up.
I know we are less than 2 weeks before Christmas, but if your really good and eat all your veggies you just might be able to persuade Mr or Mrs Santa Claus to add this to your wish list.
I know I bought this as a Christmas present for Myself but i couldn't resist trying it out. I started out by trying a little drop of the glow tonic on a cotton pad and doing a test piece just behind my ear, as I have sensitive skin, and both the tonic and cleanser contain AHA's.
I have only used the tonic and cleanser a couple of times but I have to say the the cleanser leaves my face feeling clean and not dry. The tonic is refreshing with being stripping. I'm hoping to see an improvement in the scarring and blocked pores that I get. (i'll let you know in a month or so.)
The AHA's in the tonic and cleanser are a gentle way to exfoliate the skin, as they help to breakdown dead skin cells, without harsh scrubby bits.
Important note: when using any product with AHA's in on your skin, you will need to use a sunscreen (even in winter) for up to a week after using the product, as the AHA's will make your skin more susceptible to UV rays.
